The fabric for our Lauren Bra is produced with cotton sourced from 2 farmers' cooperatives, one in Uganda, one in Kyrgyzstan. The manufacturer buys the cotton directly from the cooperatives and they pay organic fair-trade prices. To date, they have trained 12,500 farmers in organic farming and good agriculture practice. This program has been especially appreciated because after 20 years of civil war in Uganda, the number of people with technical know-how is very low.
This garment is machine washable on a gentle cycle at 30C. Wash by hand to prolong its life, wash cold to help save the planet! Air dry flat, do not tumble dry.
